Draw is a one-tap reaction game set on a dusty western main street. You and an outlaw pace off and the stand-off begins. A heartbeat thumps, the tension builds, and then a big "!" bursts onto the screen. Tap the instant you see it. Beat the outlaw's draw and you win the duel. Too slow and you lose your hat. Tap before the signal and it's a foul. Crows, tumbleweeds, question marks and twitchy outlaws all try to make you flinch, and every outlaw draws a little faster than the last. Three hats per run. Your score is duels won.
How to play Draw
- Wait while the stand-off builds. Don't touch the screen yet.
- The moment the big "!" appears, tap anywhere.
- Beat the outlaw's draw to win the duel. Your reaction time pops up in milliseconds.
- Tapping early is a foul, and being too slow costs a hat. Lose all three and the run ends.
Tips to get a high score
- Only the big gold "!" counts. A "?" sign, a crow or the outlaw twitching is a trap.
- Rest your thumb just above the screen so you only have to drop it.
- Draws under 250 ms are QUICK. Chain quick draws for a rising combo and a coin every third one.
- Later outlaws draw in under 200 ms, so stay calm and watch the middle of the screen.
How the outlaws speed up
The first outlaw draws about 530 ms after the signal. Each one is quicker, and by the 13th duel they're down to around 230 ms. After that each outlaw shaves off roughly another 7 ms, until they bottom out at 150 ms somewhere past the 25th duel.
Every outlaw also gets a little random variation, about 30 ms either way, so two in a row can feel different. If you tap on the very same frame the outlaw draws, the duel is yours.
The wait before the signal changes too. Early on the "!" comes between about 1.2 and 3 seconds into the stand-off. Later it can come after just 1 second or take nearly 4, so counting in your head won't help.
Fake-outs and when they start
The first two duels have no fake-outs at all. From the third, about half of duels have one, rising to almost every duel later on, and later duels can throw two at you. Up to the 6th duel the fakes are only crows and tumbleweeds. After that the "?" sign and the twitching outlaw join in.
A fake never lands right on top of the signal. The real "!" always comes at least a third of a second after a fake starts, but it can come that soon, so settle straight back in after one instead of relaxing.
Tapping during the pace-off is ignored, so you can't foul before the stand-off begins. Once it starts, any tap before the "!" is a foul and costs a hat.
Scoring, streaks and a steady run
Each duel you win is one point, however fast you were. A QUICK draw, 250 ms or faster, builds your streak, and every third quick draw in a row drops a coin for hats. Winning by about 50 ms or less shows a CLOSE! pop. Neither changes your score.
Your three hats never come back, and a foul costs exactly the same as being too slow. In the first few duels the outlaw gives you nearly half a second, so there's no reason to guess. React to the signal and bank the easy wins.
Guessing is what ends most runs early. When the outlaws get fast, the urge to tap on a hunch grows, and fake-outs are built for exactly that moment. Keep your eyes on the middle of the screen and wait to see the gold "!" itself.

FAQ
What's a good reaction time?
Most people react to the signal in 250–350 ms on a phone. Under 250 ms counts as a QUICK draw. The first outlaws give you over half a second, and the fastest ones just 150 ms.
Why did I get a foul?
You tapped before the "!" appeared. Fake-outs like crows, tumbleweeds and "?" signs are designed to make you jump the gun.
Is it free?
Yes. Every Tapamine game is free to play in your browser with no download and no account.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Tapamine is built for phones first: portrait, one thumb, and it works offline after your first visit. It also works with a mouse or the spacebar on a computer.
How do challenges work?
After a run, tap “Challenge a friend” to send a link. Your friend plays the exact same level and races your ghost — a replay of your run — to see who wins.
