Dunk is a one-tap basketball game. Your googly-eyed basketball rolls forward on its own. Tap to bounce it up, then let it fall down through each hoop. Miss a hoop and the run is over. The rims are solid, so a ball can bounce in off the rim, but a clean swish that touches nothing scores double and builds a combo. Three in a row sets the ball on fire.
How to play Dunk
- Tap anywhere to bounce the ball upward. It moves forward by itself.
- Get above each hoop and drop down through it. Hoops only count from above.
- Missing a hoop, falling onto the spikes at the bottom or hitting a red spike block ends the run.
- A swish (no rim touch) is worth 2 points and builds a combo. Three swishes in a row light the ball on fire.
Tips to get a high score
- Get a little above the rim early, then stop tapping and let the ball drop in.
- Rim bounces are fine. They still count, but they reset your swish combo.
- Later hoops move up and down. Time your drop for when the hoop is heading toward you.
- Don't tap under a hoop: the net blocks the ball from below.
- Daily levels are the same for everyone, so a friend's ghost shows you the timing that works.
Daily levels and ghost races
Every day Dunk has a new daily level that's the same for everyone. While you play, you race translucent “ghosts” — real replays of other players and your friends. Beat a score, then send a challenge link so a friend can race your ghost on the exact same level.
FAQ
What counts as a swish?
Dropping through the hoop without touching either side of the rim. A swish scores 2 points instead of 1 and adds to your combo.
Why did I lose when I went over the hoop?
Every hoop has to be scored. Going over, under or bouncing out past it ends the run, so line up and drop through each one.
Is it free?
Yes. Every Tapamine game is free to play in your browser with no download and no account.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Tapamine is built for phones first: portrait, one thumb, and it works offline after your first visit. It also works with a mouse or the spacebar on a computer.
How do challenges work?
After a run, tap “Challenge a friend” to send a link. Your friend plays the exact same level and races your ghost — a replay of your run — to see who wins.
