Hug the curves. Don't fly off. A free one-tap game.
Play nowHold to turn · Release to straightenDrift is a one-tap driving game. Your car drives itself up a zig-zag road; hold to swing into a drift and release to straighten out. Stay on the road as it speeds up and gets twistier.
How to play Drift
- Your car drives forward on its own.
- Hold to turn into a drift; release to straighten.
- Stay on the road — every meter counts.
- Pick up coins on the road for bonus points.
Tips to get a high score
- Start your turn a little before the corner — drifting takes a moment to bite.
- Hug the inside edge for a “CLOSE!” bonus.
- Relax your thumb on long straights; over-steering is the most common crash.
Daily levels and ghost races
Every day Drift has a new daily level that's the same for everyone. While you play, you race translucent “ghosts” — real replays of other players and your friends. Beat a score, then send a challenge link so a friend can race your ghost on the exact same level.
FAQ
Why do I slide after I let go?
Drifting has momentum, just like a real car: the car keeps sliding a little before it straightens out. Plan your release early.
Is it free?
Yes. Every Tapamine game is free to play in your browser with no download and no account.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Tapamine is built for phones first: portrait, one thumb, and it works offline after your first visit. It also works with a mouse or the spacebar on a computer.
How do challenges work?
After a run, tap “Challenge a friend” to send a link. Your friend plays the exact same level and races your ghost — a replay of your run — to see who wins.
